EMBL-EBI SOUTH BUILDING

ABELL:NEPP

We have been working with the Wellcome Trust for many years but our first project with architects NBBJ was on the EBI East Wing project on their Genome Campus in Hinxton, Cambridge. We followed that with the BREEAM Excellent new South Building designed by Abell:Nepp. Having assessed the success of the previous workspace we continued as the furniture consultant running the workstation and storage tenders and developing the loose furniture package. FACT ran regular workshops with the designers, facilities management and client reps., collating feedback from which the final schedules were drawn. We were given responsibility for furniture budget management and were thrilled to achieve savings in excess of 10%.
